SILVER QUEEN BED & BREAKFAST POLICIES

We want your Colorado weekend getaway or romantic vacation at the Silver Queen Bed and Breakfast to be an enjoyable experience. That is why we have some policies to help all our guests have a pleasant stay with us.

  • The Silver Queen Bed & Breakfast is a non-smoking inn.
  • Children over 10 are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • We cannot accommodate your pets.

Room Tariffs

  • Room rate range from $145 to $195 per night + tax (depending on availability, occupancy, and season)
  • Daily rates include lodging and full gourmet breakfast.
  • Rates are for single or double occupancy.
  • Regulations limit guestroom occupancy to maximum of 2 persons, except for children.
  • There will be a $15/night charge for each child.
  • Occupancy tax not included.
  • Payment by VISA, MC, Discover.
  • Minimum consecutive night stays may be required on all weekends, holidays, special events, and during high season.
  • Rates are subject to change without notice.
  • Special policy applies to group reservations.

Deposits

  • Advance reservations are recommended.
  • A first night or 50% deposit (whichever is more) is required to hold the reservation.
  • Single night reservations must be paid in full at the time of reservation.
  • Entire facility reservations must be guaranteed by payment in full 30 days prior to arrival date.
  • Check deposits can only be used if the reservation is made more than 1 month in advance, and payment must be received within one week after the reservation is made, or the reservation will be cancelled.
  • An advance deposit on a valid credit card will confirm the reservation immediately and will be charged at the time the reservation is made.
  • A written confirmation will be sent upon deposit receipt. Please check your written confirmation carefully for correct dates and room information.
  • Certain rules apply to holidays, special events, and group reservations.
  • Full payment is due upon arrival.

Cancellations

Due to the inn's limited number of rooms, cancellations of all confirmed reservations must be made as follows:

  • Single Room cancellations must be made by 12:00 noon, 14 days (21 days for holidays and special events) prior to the arrival date for a refund less the processing fee. Cancellations made after that time will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival date and "no shows" will be charged for the entire reservation.
  • Multiple Room cancellations must be made by 12:00 noon, 21 days (30 days for holidays and special events) prior to the arrival date for a refund less the processing fee. Cancellations made after that time will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival date and "no shows" will be charged for the entire reservation.
  • Entire Facility cancellations must be made by 12:00 noon, 30 days (45 days for holidays and special events) prior to the arrival date for a refund less the processing fee.  Cancellations made after that time will forfeit the deposit.  Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival date and "no shows" will be charged for the entire reservation.
  • All cancellations and reservation date changes are subject to a $20 per room handling charge regardless of date of cancellation or change.
  • Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved, regardless of actual arrival or departure date.
  • No refunds due to weather.
  • No refunds for early departure.
  • If reserved rooms are rebooked for the same dates as the originally scheduled reservation, your deposit will be returned less a $20 per room charge.

Check-In/Check-Out

  • Check-in hours are normally from 4-6 P.M. We ask that advance arrangements be made for arrivals after 6 P.M. as we like to personally welcome and greet our guests. So that all guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of the inn, check-ins are usually not permitted past 9 P.M.
  • Check-out time is 11 A.M.

Breakfast

  • All room rates include a full breakfast for each registered guest.
  • You may enjoy your breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the Dining Room, Breakfast Room, or Garden (weather permitting). Please let us know your preference the day before, as we set the table accordingly.
  • Please advise us of any dietary needs prior to arrival. We are able to accommodate most special dietary needs, and we will advise you in advance if we are unable to do so.
  • Additional breakfast guests may be allowed for $15 per guest. Please make advance arrangements.

Children

  • Children that are at least 10 years old are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • There will be a $15 charge/night for each child.
  • Younger children are welcome when the entire B&B is reserved for one group.

Parking

  • Off-street parking is provided (one space per guestroom) on the 4th St. side of the B&B.
  • Please enter the driveway and park in one of the 2 spaces alongside the building on your right. If those spaces are occupied, please park in the driveway behind the left garage door.
  • Street parking is highly discouraged.

Room Policies

  • Please do not burn candles in the B&B. There are flameless candles in each suite and extra batteries in the hall tree drawer (upstairs by the balcony door).
  • We encourage you to enjoy our jetted tubs. We have provided bubble bath for you and request that you use only that in the bathtubs. Other products may cause damage to the pumps.
  • The bathrobes are provided for your convenience during your stay. If you must take one (or both) when you leave, we will charge your credit card $50 per robe.
