Reserve the Cora and Emil Anderson Room for a vacation in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Many Swedish families came to live in Georgetown in the 19th Century, among them the Anderson family. Descendants of this family still own and operate the grocery and hardware store on Historic 6th Street.
This sunny room is decorated with a nod to the Swedish heritage in soft blue-gray colors, and it has a painted wood floor. The queen-size bed has a beautiful painted headboard made from a pair of antique Swedish beds. It overlooks the gardens of the inn and has spectacular mountain views. A charming gas stove adds warmth and romance in the evening.
The master bath has a jetted tub that also overlooks the garden and mountains. There are two separate vanities with sinks and storage, a separate shower, and a private water closet.
